Running is a passion of mine and has been for quite some time. In the past, I have gone through phases where I get really serious and then I get busy, lose progress and have to start over. It’s a vicious cycle.
Last year, sort of in a last minute decision, I decided I wanted to run a half marathon. I did in May of 2024 and even though I completed it and felt proud, I didn’t stick to a proper plan and I was not consistent in my training.
I am running the half marathon again this upcoming May and this year I had the goal to be consistent and train properly. I felt this inquiry project would give me the perfect place to share my journey and hold me accountable! Because there is a date of completion and clear end goal here, I feel like this helps me track progress and know if I am on tract or not.
In each blog post, I will try to reflect on my runs from the week before and set goals for the next week. I also would like to post content about resources or products that I love to use when I’m training! 👟
