Many of us listen to music when we run, personally I almost can’t go without it! If I’m running with a friend for a light jog or with a group I can certainly go without it but on those hard days when you need some motivation, or maybe you’re going for a PB- music is a MUST!
My music taste is pretty general but for the most part what I’ve found works without fail are some upbeat songs you just wanna sing and dance to, that usually gets me going. Generally I listen to 10-15 minutes of music while I get ready to go and while I warmup and that gets me pretty hype for my run, even if I wasn’t too excited to run earlier that day.
